After the huge success of Moto G in India with its sales crossing 5 lakhs,Motorola yet again launched a smartphone 'Moto E' with some incredible specs and Android Kitkat in the offering. As a result of the heat produced by the Moto E India's no 2 smartphone maker Micromax has a launched a spree of smartphones with Kitkat preloaded. The latest offering from the desi player is Micromax Canvas Unite and will be available across all leading retail outlets in India starting today. Another key highlight of the device is its support for 21 regional languages.Talking about the specs the latest offering sports a 4.7-inch IPS display with 800×480 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6582 quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM.On the camera front, one can expect 5-megapixel auto focus rear snapper with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also packs in camera features such as beauty mode, live photo mode and panorama. The device comes dipped in four vivid colours – grey, white, red and green.
With 4GB onboard storage, it can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. The connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi. All of this is fuelled by a 2000 mAh battery. The company claims that it can be easily upgraded via FOTA, offering features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritisation and more.
Personally i would had preferred the Unite over the Moto E due to its large screen and the auto focus shooting capabilities.
