Moto X paving its way in the Indian Market with incredible launch day offers.

Continuing to tease the approaching launch of the Moto X in India, Flipkart today announced it will offer a discount of 70 percent on Moto X cases to those who buy the smartphone on launch day. Earlier, the online retailer had announced a 6-month EMI scheme with Rs 1,000 cashback.Flipkart has not announced the launch date but reports suggests it would hit the shelves on March 19.Unlike US, Motorola would not introduce Moto Maker for its flagship in India.

The Moto X will be available in five colors and two wooden finishes. Only the 16GB version will be launched in India, though there is no word on the pricing, yet.Moto x is priced at 399$ in the US market, which is equal to INR 24386. Analysts suggest the Moto X should be priced well under Rs 25,000, judging from the extraordinary pricing of the Moto G in India.

Flipkart got into a partnership with Motorola under which it would be the exclusive retailer for Motorola’s smartphones. The online retailer is also the importer of Motorola smartphones in India, unlike other cases where the smartphone company imports the units and then distributes it via distributor partners. With this partnership, Flipkart has ensured no one else gets the device and it is not available in normal brick-and-mortar stores.

The strategy seems to have worked for Flipkart with the Moto G being considered to be a successful launch. Analysts BGR India spoke to suggest Flipkart could have sold (and not shipped) in excess of 50,000 units of the Moto G within a month of its launch.
Talking about the specs it is powered by 1.7 gigs Dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait with Adreno 320 and gorilla glass 3 on the top and it supports 4g lte.
